Louisiana needs legalize the sale of unpasteurized milk.
Pretty sure I saw that Xan John made this a part of his platform

I don't know about Daisy but I believe that Borden's cow advertising mascot was named "Elsie" if I recall correctly

We had pasteurized milk delivered to our house in glass bottles and it was really good. All other milk has been poor in comparison ever since.

never had plastic gallon jugs growing up. Always 1/2 gallon cardboard cartons after the milkman stopped deliveries

The milk we got from our Jersey named Suzy always had fat floating on the top of it. The milk from the store did not.

That’s all I got.

Any of y’all have to drink Carnation, powdered milk? You definitely notice the difference.

The powdered milk at home was terrible compared to the whole milk at school.

The bull milk was always thickest and seemed like it had curdled

I’m old enough to remember when the milk man would bring it to your house, It was in glass bottles and that shite was cold as hell, had little flakes of ice in it. That shite was awesome

Home squeezed Jersey is definitely unsurpassed. The home made ice cream actually ended up having bits of butter in it.

Btw, I guess the guy doesn't know that we finally got raw milk legalized in Louisiana last year. Hoorah for food freedom. I've drank raw milk for 25 years.

No, actually it isn't. Having nothing is better than having to drink skim milk.

? How old are you? Most milk was being pasteurized and Homogenized since the 50's! It was mandated by the Feds in the early 70's.

Regularly Drinking Raw milk is dangerous as hell. It's a virtual paradise island for pathogens to grow in.

Not to mention, I grew up next to a Dairy Farm and warm raw milk is gross.
