Whichever one is more convenient to go to. There’s a few things at Costco I like or can’t get at Sams but Costco is out of the way.

It's like Target over Walmart. If you can't see that difference, then it won't matter to you anyway.

This is the correct answer. I've had memberships to both and enjoyed both, but I like Costco better. But it isn't so much better that I would pass a Sams to get to a Costco.

I’m a member of both. At least in my case, the only advantage I see Sam’s has is it’s far less crowded (and maybe there’s a reason for that), and the aisles are better marked.
You might want to check whether your clubs sell gasoline and liquor.
I’d go with Costco.

I use Sams and it’s closer but having used both it will come down to preference and what your main purchases are.
Sams has very good meat and meat selection. I do a lot of smoking and their baby back ribs, brisket, butts, and even whole pork bellies and darn good.

The Sam's here are less crowded because there are 3 or 4 in town. There's only one Costco. It's a miserable place to be on the weekends it gets so crowded.

In my hood, Costco has a much better meat, wine and electronics selection. Sams has a wider selection of clothing, accessories stuff.
