Every school district PD Zoom meeting that I was ever a part of:
Meeting begins at 8AM. You registered for it, and you’ve received far too many emails reminding you of it.
7:55, I’ve joined the meeting, signed in, and am waiting for it to hurry up and start because everyone hates these things.
8AM, presenter turns on her camera/audio and begins having a conversation with the facilitator in the room with her.
8:05, finally addresses the group that has logged in to the meeting, “Good morning everyone. Thank you for joining us. I see that we’re still waiting on a few teachers to join. We’re going to give them about three more minutes and then get started.”
8:10, “Almost everyone is with us. We’re going to give these last few a couple more minutes. *district presenter begins talking to a teacher that she knows personally about things that have nothing to do with the topic of the meeting.
8:15, the presenter finally begrudgingly starts the meeting because some still haven’t logged on.
Useless meeting that was scheduled for an hour now doesn’t end until 9:15 because of a bunch of trifling bitches who don’t care at all about being on time. They know there won’t be any consequences, and these are usually the same teachers who will expect admin to stomp a hole in a student’s arse when they send him to the office for not having a pencil.

“You’re on mute!”
Retard continues talking
“You’re on mute, we can’t hear you!”
Retard still talking
“You’re still muted!”
Someone sends a message in the meeting chat
“Oh, I’m sorry guys. Let me start over”

I can't stand all of the corporate jargon. No, Carl, it doesn't make you sound smart. It makes you sound like a jackass who probably doesn't know WTF he's talking about.

My pet peeve… nothing actually gets accomplished. It’s usually reporting in useless stale metrics and then moving the rest along for the sake of getting it over. No solutions

or worse
the field hand that joins an All Hands meeting and doesn't know how or forgets to mute and the entire company hears him ranting in the most profane way imaginable
never fails to not be funny

There’s also always some a-hole that manages to send the audio into a fricking infinite echo wormhole every time anyone speaks

My recent pet peeve is being on with a non-listener. In this case, I've been meeting twice weekly with a corporate attorney about a auditable control. She talks too fast, doesn't care to hear what's presented to her and assumes before a call that she already knows the answer. She begins every meeting with a litany of action requests most of which have no bearing on the control. After our 1st call she sent an email that was almost 8,000 characters long (thanks Gemini). 6 meetings later she figured out that what I told her a month ago was spot on and we didn't have to do any of the crap she wanted us to do.

Using the camera. I know what you look like, I don’t need to see your face or for you to see the scowl on mine.

2. Starting a meeting by having everyone introduce themselves.
Someone pulled this stunt in a large conference room of about 40 people. To add insult to injury, she also asked each person to describe what unique input they could provide to the project and speculate why they believed they were chosen to be in the room.
Early in my career, I had a VP tell me he declines all meeting requests that don't have action times in the invite. It seemed harsh at the time, but I later realized it's a great policy. Now granted, you gotta have some serious seniority to swing your nuts like that.

ehh depends.
Sometimes people outside the organization have technical issues with your organizations desired version of webex/zoom/teams/etc.
If its internal, I start immediately.

Ridiculous and often evidence of a lack of preparation by the presenter, as they are just using it to burn through 10-15 minutes of the scheduled meeting.
