Hard to do when every single meeting for the whole day runs down to the last second.

I schedule all meetings to start 10 min after the top of the hour college class schedule style. Everyone always praises me for it, as well as very rarely scheduling a meeting and never recurring ones. Always have an agenda, always use the required vs optional list as appropriate, end the meeting when its time for it to end.

Its so simple to do this properly and for some fricking reason nobody seems to be capable of figuring it out. If we are done 10 minutes before the scheduled time, then we are fricking done. We arent going to sit here and chit chat so your teams dot can stay red. Dont jam meetings that can be phone calls into every little sliver of a gap on everyone's calender. Dont schedule a meeting that should be 3+ hours into a 20 minute friday lunch time slot because "thats the only time I could find."
