Pretty inaccurate for a "rampage" if you ask me.

Sterling Archer asks "Do you even rampage?"

If you haven’t shoved a grenade up an Irish gangster’s arse, it isn’t a rampage.

I dream of a world where "journalists" stop writing these types of headlines.

I'd ask for a link, but you didn't even bother to qualify what your percentage is.

Its been "statically proven", at least as much as your statement, that it killed 5% of this town's population, which is a whopping 2000% higher "batting average" than whatever you pulled out of the hat.

Many young people move away when they can. Gove County's median age is nearly 50 years old, a decade older than the national average. Among the 2,600 residents, coronavirus found easy targets, especially once it worked its way into the nursing home.

1. It has a much older population than most of the country and is rural.

2. They purposefully are conflating the town (1,000) and county (2,600) populations.

3. You are horrible at math. You state that it killed "5% of this town's population, which is a whopping 2000% higher "batting average" than whatever you pulled out of the hat."

20 of 2600 is .769231%

20 of 1000 is 2%

Never mind. I read the first few paragraphs and realized they were all ancient.

Old people die. It's what they do.

The article is a mini version of "What's the matter with Kansas?"

Same thesis, a condescending diatribe disguised as concern.

Okay, I will play:

April 27, 2011
Northern Alabama:

quote:

Hackleburg–Phil Campbell tornado

quote:

In total, this tornado killed 72 people, all in Alabama.[23] This made it the deadliest single tornado ever to strike the state of Alabama[24] as well as (at the time) the deadliest in the United States since the 1955 Udall, Kansas tornado that killed 80 people

quote:

Areas impacted: Hackleburg, Phil-Campbell, Tanner, Harvest

The tornado was on the ground for 2 hours and 35 minutes. In just over 2 and a half hours, 72 people lost their lives and many more were injured and/or lost their homes and livelihoods.

In summation, USA Today can frick right the hell off with their bullshite clickbait headline.

When you read these articles, there's a clear template if you haven't noticed. Every single fear porn article follows the same trite propaganda routine. ]

It always mentions an area that voted for Trump, always says they don't like masks...

When Cuomo forced old folks homes to take in people and many died, not a peep.

The news media is being paid off by shady actors.

2% is 500% more than 0.004% that you have still yet to back up.

God forbid people recognize that while this virus isn't the end of the world, it's a little bit more serious than the flu.
