Sounds like Gove County may have a nursing home problem.

Gove County population, 2612.

Gove County had seven deaths in the 10 days prior to Oct. 13, including six deaths in Gove County Medical Center's long-term care, according to the medical center.

More than 50 employees at the Gove County Medical Center have been infected with the virus, the hospital said in a statement Tuesday. At least 25 staff members have recovered and two are hospitalized.

That absence of employees, the medical center said, has “been felt facility-wide.”

Sanitary conditions must have suffered at the long-term nursing facility. And 50 employees with COVID? And FARMERS are the problem?

AND

ALL residents in another rural Kansas county nursing home have COVID. Norton County KS. Population 5400.

quote:

All 62 residents at a Kansas nursing home have COVID-19, ten have died.
