Also, if you get quarantined, at least you've got experience with being confined to one place.

Something to keep an eye on. The 4th confirmed case in South Korea but at this time they don't believe the person has been to or lived in Wuhan...
@hohocho
55-year-old S.Korean is the number 4 #coronarvirus patient in S.Korea. We don’t know this person has once visited or lived in Wuhan at this time.
Edit: Nvm they just confirmed he recently returned from there.

now 80 dead, 2744 infected, 5794 suspected infections 30453 under observation.
Doesn’t look like it’s going to be contained. Hope those death numbers stay low and don’t take off exponentially like the infected numbers.

From the WSJ:
The WSJ Paywall finally got my PayPal. They have 3 very good reporters at WSJ working on this so the digital subscription was worth it to have the latest news.
China urges calm over virus during “critical period”

Zhou Xianwang, the mayor of Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak, said at a press briefing late Sunday that he expects that experts will confirm another roughly 1,000 of the suspected infection cases under monitoring. Most of the confirmed cases in mainland China so far are in and around Wuhan. Mr. Zhou said more than five million people have left Wuhan, leaving about nine million. Many residents hail from around the region and normally leave town for Lunar New Year, and it isn’t known how many specifically fled because of the virus.

If you keep eating any and everything you can kill and living in squalor stacked on top of each other, the likelihood of this shite increases.
