Then maybe I don't know what it means.
You probably just know the common usage; a shot with a needle to treat or prevent disease. But it does have other usages in medicine and research. Here's from Merriam Webster:
Definition of inoculate
transitive verb
1a : to introduce a microorganism into
//inoculate mice with anthrax
//beans inoculated with nitrogen-fixing bacteria
b : to introduce (something, such as a microorganism) into a suitable situation for growth
c : to introduce immunologically active material (such as an antibody or antigen) into especially in order to treat or prevent a disease
//inoculate children against diphtheria

You autists have to figure out a way to recognize sarcasm and facetiousness.
Startinf it with "I may sound like a huge pussy" makes me think he was serious, yes.

There were a few studies done on quarantines after SARS was found in Toronto. Most stated quarantines were inefficient and ineffective at large scales.
On a related note, I'd like to know when your personal rights no longer exist. For example, if you're the Chicago patient and you just want to head home and live your life with this virus, can you?

This virus taking me out would be quite ironic.

Ok, if doctors are dying from it, I am starting to get freaked out
I was under the impression this was just a respiratory illness that isn’t severe for most people

I’m surprised I can’t find much except a book excerpt that raised on construction issues related to that.

Inoculation is an intentional act for a specific reason, what he described was contraction, not inoculation.
