Scheduling Tylenol consistently has its negatives, major one being, you will never know if his fever is truly down or it’s just masked.

He hasn't had Tylenol in two days.

That's why I was wondering how good of a sign it is that he hasn't had a fever in two days without taking any.

I really don't know in regards to this virus.

Just from my previous memories of being sick it seemed that once your fever broke you were getting better.

Make sure to take care of yourself as well. And if you think you have it...get tested for confirmation and so you can take proper steps (regarding isolating yourself away from others, etc).

Well I'm already acting as if I have it.

Just taking care of my pops in the process.

Hoping for another positive day for dad tomorrow.

All of the things he and mom did for me, and my brother, over the years.. there's zero hesitation for me to be there.

He's a tough cookie. Stubborn, but I think that helps him fight through shite.

I know if he had his way he would be out and about, at this point because he thinks he would be ok, but I think I've made it clear to him how bad this virus can affect someone with his health conditions. That and I wouldn't want to be responsible getting someone else's family ill.

We're taking it day by day, but were definitely heading in the right direction.

That is a good sign overall.

Hope it keeps trending in the right direction.

In vitro data suggesting lovenox and UFH heparin inhibits viral replication.

May explain why our patients seemed to do better once we just started anticoagulating everyone because they kept getting PEs and shite

That’s crazy. Can’t wait to hear the mechanism of action at play, if they can ever identify it.

Went to a bridal shower this weekend. At least 45 women in a cramped 2 room suite. Tables set so that everyone could sit next to one another. NO masks were worn. I left as soon as I possibly could. It's almost as if some people just think it's no big deal. My sis had it, so it is a big deal.

And yet you attended and managed to stay long enough to estimate the people and lack of mask use.

For someone that thinks it's a big deal, you certainly kept yourself in a "risky" situation after identifying it as something you thought was risky.

You could have just walked away.

How long would it take you to count to 45?

He says about 1/2 way through... We humans trying to do fancy things that have never been done in history often just doesn't work.

He's talking about masks, shutdowns, etc. and how it really hasn't changed the historical curve of this at all compared to other seasonal viruses over time. It's a good listen and I did skip around the first time I saw it trying to get to more US related info. It's interesting how the US charts broken down by climate track along with overseas charts of places with similar climates.

I've been watching Dr. John Campbell on youtube over the past couple of months.

He seems as neutral as one could be on everything pertaining to the virus.

He made a video on the staggering amount of vitamin d deficient people who have struggled with the virus.

He says it's more of a risk than you would think. He even went as far to say it(d deficiency) had more of an impact than obesity, which was shocking.

I've been encouraging all my friends and family to take vitamins d, c, and zinc just as a precaution. Seems to be a bigger deal than one would think.

Dad still isn't running a fever. If we can make it tonight w/out fever that will be 72 hours.

Also he said he finally coughed some phlegm up.

Still weak and tired, but he's not hurting from coughing anymore.

overall we're improving still.

WaPO with an article about deaths of dementia patients during isolation.

Are people starting to wake up to the insanity of the lockdowns?

Nothing but good news from my dad's run in with the virus.

Almost 4 days without a fever. Blood pressure, sugar, and oxygen levels are all good.

He says he keeps feeling way better every passing day.

I'm fairly certain he whooped it's arse.

Now he's gonna have some weakness and tiredness he will have to overcome in the next week or two, but just sitting here talking to him makes me realize he's probably out of the woods.

Yes, but I'm praying mom doesn't get it. Which I can't believe she hasn't... maybe she a form of immunity from a prior sickness.

I've had some aches in my traps. I did carry some heavy things a couple days ago which might be the lone cause, but it just seems a little odd.

Had a runny nose and a little sinus irritation last couple of days.

Other than that I feel fine.

I'm curious as to when dad is technically not contagious anymore. I wouldn't be afraid to go up and talk to him without a mask, but I'm not going to risk it.

Aside from a bout with chills and a fever Sunday night, what you described is about the extent of my symptoms. I’m assuming worst is over and I’m going to go fish in the morning and get my sun vitamins.

Glad he’s better and take care if yourself.

I want to say after 10 days of no symptoms/no meds you’re consider recovered. Seems that testing showed (I read somewhere) that the viral load wasn’t passed on after 9/10 days.

And I already take vitamin d — added c and zinc.
