From everything I've seen, I don't buy that this is a case of consensual sex turned regret. In her official statement to the police, she said the night turned out consensual as she had a threesome with 2 guys. This is consistent with the text messages, where originally she said she had fun with 2 of the guys, but did not like the thousand other guys who showed up. And later in texts, she went on to say that 90% of what occured that night was not consensual.
If she 100% consented to every single thing that happened that night, but later had regrets. It doesn't make sense for her to tell them that she was completely okay with having a threesome. If you're trying to prove to your friends that you're not a hoe, that isn't the way to go about it.

Read earlier Van Houten (allegedly) didn’t review all the statements proffered by Cornell PD. This is apparently one of the reasons Hochul called for Tish to step in.
Not sure who else’s statement wasn’t reviewed.
One thing I’m having trouble reconciling- so ginger Jane Doe goes to the cops a couple weeks later because she now believed she was sexually assaulted. Yet in her interview, her texts and her actions afterwards, she wanted to see two of the guys again. In addition, she wrote that she wasn’t raped and everything was aboveboard.
Why did she go to the cops then if she already admitted she wasn’t raped?

If I’m not mistaken, the university was investigating what happened that night because of the drug use. The police took statements from everyone involved.

I've seen the texts, yes. But I interpret it differently. None of the texts read as she was cool with everything. From the beginning, it sounded like she wasn't cool with everything, she just didn't call it rape yet. She was cool with the original threesome.

Then how do you explain that her tune turned when 1. she found out rumors about her reputation were getting around and 2. she got pissed when she was not invited to a party after the event in which she really wanted to go.
If you are raped and assulted as brutally as she claims she was, then why go back and want to go to a party at the same place?

I provided an answer to this earlier. But in short, even from he OP's post, he remarked how often women who are abused from their boyfriends, would then turn around and go right back to that same boyfriend. The same thing can and has happened in cases of rape.
