It would not be the first time such a thing has happened. Women have often gone right back to their abusers. Is it the smart thing to do? No. Is it logical? No.

Talk to different women who has gone through such things. It can give you different perspectives.

The accuser literally told the fraternity members she wanted to have consensual sex.

Fraternity president probably thought he was doing the right thing by banning the girl from the Halloween party, but ended up getting seven members accused of rape + and involved in complex litigation that will end up costing millions and probably rendering the organizations uninsurable.

Probably had good intentions, and sounds like something they teach you to do at some leadership retreat they'd go to every year. You know, make the hard decisions.

That said someone with more wisdom and experience would've advised to tread lightly. Triggering this girl to rage was a foreseeable outcome, all things considered.

Would've been better off canceling the party. But, you live and you learn. And sometimes that living and learning costs millions and potential criminal liability.

I provided an answer to this earlier. But in short, even from he OP's post, he remarked how often women who are abused from their boyfriends, would then turn around and go right back to that same boyfriend. The same thing can and has happened in cases of rape.

I’m convinced you post just to be a contrarian. You did the same thing in the Nolan Wells thread.

You're referring to trauma bonding scenarios in which the woman views herself as a dependent within an existing relationship. This was a one-off. There was no standing relational dependence. Literally nothing points to that scenario here.

In this scenario, the relationship likely didn't start out as abusive. The woman here is already romantically/emotionally involved with a man and is hoping he'll revert back to his previous state.

Also, abuse isn't an activity that's fun in some circumstances and a crime in others, outside of some weirdos, I suppose. So Jane Doe was having a great time and then at some unknown point in the evening she wasn't and so now it's a crime. Says who? How do you prove that?

This isn't a case of a man hiding in the bushes and attacking/raping a woman. This is drunken and drug-fueled chaos and debauchery that possibly took a turn.

Exactly. You can’t prove it which is why authorities declined to criminally prosecute the men. But now, because of this bogus lawsuit, the outrage mob is demanding “action.”

The ot jury's verdict is this girl, loaded on Ketamine, drunk, and slurring her words wanted to get gang banged by 7 dudes, 5 randoms after they responded to 'free pussy' post? Or deserved to get gang banged by 7 guys? Pathetic. My daughter in this situation I'd track them all down and there would be serious violence .

She told 2 of them that. She didn't say she wanted to have consensual sex with the entire fraternity.

Burn unit! Party of one!

Some posters will do anything to shift the blame away from a woman. God forbid there are sloots in this world.
