Here is why it changed and is nothing short of brilliant: in order to sell a product in Walmart, you have to have a representative living in and having office space within 30 miles of their headquarters within Arkansas state borders. So every company sends in someone to NW Arkansas to do basically nothing but play golf with Walmart executives, because if anything important comes up with Walmart, you can bet your arse the CEO of the company will fly down to deal with them in person and you are simply support and shut up and listen during the meeting. It’s the easiest job in the world and tens of thousands of people are doing it up there.

I moved to Bella Vista which is just North of Rogers last April. It is a great area.

Walmart requires suppliers that do more than X amount of sales to have an office. The offices are populated by sales analysts and category analysts amongst others. Walmart’s buyers meet with these analyst groups and they advise the buyers. It’s pretty genius, free labor.
Some other guy mentioned “it’s crawling with Hog fans”.
In my subdivision, I drive by Penn State, UGA, Auburn, Notre Dame and many many other flags flying outside houses. There are definitely more out of area fans then Arkansas fans here. Arkansas is the largest fan base but it’s below 50%.

I moved to Hot Springs Village Arkansas last year. We love it. Weather is better and it’s a beautiful state

If your kids are school age , you can't beat it. Make sure you take a good look at school districting . Some spots have English as second language. Lots of white people in Bentonville.
