If he’s smart he’s been loudly talking about learning Spanish in the prison library, using intent access - if any - to search about Mexican geography and then promptly heads to the Canadian Wilderness to work cash logging jobs.

Can we assume he was banging some female jail worker and she let him out?

I’m gonna guess he will be caught when an LEO walks into Popeyes while he is waiting on Da Spicy.

But, but life imprisonment is just as good as execution. "They'll never get out."

A lot of us were alive when a half dozen death row inmates escaped at once, but most of us probably weren't very old

According to Marion police, a citizen, who had seen a news report about the escape and description of the vehicle, called TBI to report the that the truck was sitting behind a business in Marion. Police who responded to the scene did not find any evidence that Morley was still in the area. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they assisted Marion police. According to the sheriff’s office, the truck was found within a few blocks behind Rural King shopping center in Marion. The truck is currently being held by the police department.

His lady every night
And so I kept him away for three or four days
And waited 'til the time got right
Well, I made my run with the evening sun
And I smiled when I heard 'em turn Red out
'Cause I was headed north to Tennessee
And Ol' Red was headed south"

Get my rifle
Get my gun
Red'll have you treed before the morning comes....

More realistically though the folks hunting this miscreant will shoot the miscreant, Red, Red's handlers and any song writers who happen to be in the general vicinity....

Honestly if he had any inkling to freight train movement, hopping on one of those that would be one of the better ways to move a large distance away from his escape point without maybe encountering too many people. Especially if he happened upon a thru freight train that stays intact and travels very long distances without stopping to much. Stops are mainly for crew changes and the then the train keeps rolling.

If he could hit an East-West train, and get somewhere a few states away before dropping out somewhere in a rural area, I'd think that would give him a significant bit of slack to get somewhere. His issues will be ID (not so much), and cash (a much bigger issue). So once out into some "free space", maybe find a Home Depot or similar, and hang out in the parking lot around 6am... get into a work crew and get some spending money.

what would be your move if you bolted prison?

Head to the border, try to get into Mexico?
Lay low in back woods of Tennessee?
Head north to Canada?

Do everything possible to get laid and after that probably get shot or caught right quick

If one could make it to a major city though and live like the homeless and act like a start raving lunatic without ever overly being threatening you could probably last for years and years because no one is as invisible as a homeless person who is obviously mentally ill but not actually threatening anyone.

Before I sold my business I had significant lines of unsecured credit. Owning a small business is not as glamorous as the brochure makes it look and many is the time I dreamed of maxing those lines of credit out and disappearing.....it became a hobby planning how to do it. My conclusion was then, and that's 20 years ago, that it ain't possible if someone with the means and the desire to find you wants to they will. Its doubtful that the state of Tennessee will have a burning desire to catch this miscreant after a short period of time BUT between them and the feds they more than have the means to make up for that lack of desire. It'd be almost impossible to stay out of jail for more than a week or so and that would rely on a pile of luck...

Not sure where exactly he dumped the truck, but behind a random business doesn't sound like the best idea. So I got to thinking...where would be the best place to dump a truck without drawing suspicion for quite some time?

Obviously, a rural area where nobody can see it would be best, but unless you have a particular spot in mind, anyone that comes across the truck that is out of place is likely going to report it. So I got to thinking that maybe it would be better to dump it in a place with a bunch of other vehicles like a long term parking lot at an airport. It's unlikely to be reported, but you run the rusk of a license plate reader picking you up.

Probably a parking deck but with cameras one would have to be lucky to stay gone any length of time.

Morley is described as between 5-feet, 7-inches and 6-feet tall and weighing between 240 pounds and 270 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

They can't get a better height estimate than that? So he's either really short or moderately tall.

The TBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.

He's a murderer and they're offering only $2,500?
