Obviously, a rural area where nobody can see it would be best, but unless you have a particular spot in mind, anyone that comes across the truck that is out of place is likely going to report it. So I got to thinking that maybe it would be better to dump it in a place with a bunch of other vehicles like a long term parking lot at an airport. It's unlikely to be reported, but you run the rusk of a license plate reader picking you up.
Long term parking at the airport?
They might have LPRs, but I don't think most do. It's just an arm that keeps you in there if you haven't paid.

Blending into a homeless camp on the West Coast while planning to slip into Mexico is the best long term solution. Hopping on an east to west rail would be the best way to get there.

He's been recaptured

A motive was unclear, and Morley claimed self-defense during trial. He reported that had been hospitalized multiple times for mental health issues, including bipolar disorder, and had no prior felony offenses, according to the records.
Morley was sentenced to life in prison following his conviction.

Dude didn't even try to change his appearance even a little bit. I'm not sure I understand that. You put forth all that effort to escape, then just keep walking around with the same beard and thick rimmed glasses?
