Depends on how you define normal. I'm sure as hell not going to any conventions, clubs, concerts, sporting events, ect ect for a while.

2020 is wild

Almost everything seems to have devolved into team sport.

If you think the opinion was given by the other team it becomes worthless. If you think the opinion was given by the correct team it becomes valued.

The shittiest thing is the dislike of the other team is allowed to distract from the fact that there is no team acting with integrity (worth supporting). Everyone has been bought out because the ways our politicians are elected make people who are not paid for unelectable.

But we need to get our testing program ramped up as we are still woefully behind on this.

At some point you just have to understand that the materials aren't there for insanely rigorous testing.

Than who are we behind

Are you retarded? It doesn't matter who we are behind. That's my entire point.

Let me put it in simple terms. The goal is to drive a car 100 mph and we're driving at 50 mph while everyone else is at 30 or below. We aren't behind anyone but we aren't hitting the goal so the comparisons to others are meaningless. The goal is to hit 100 mph, not drive faster than the others.

So to stop playing your contrarian game give me a number for below.

When testing is widespread, up to date, and accurate enough to begin Trump's 3 step plan knowing your decreasing numbers are legit.

What do you mean "a number"? What I said was explicitly clear. What metric are you implying exists by that number you requested?

Then we either need a new "guidelines for opening America" playbook or we accept that the one given is meaningless and states will work the numbers in their favor.

I still think the backbone of Trump's plan is solid. We should beging to reopen with extreme emphasis put on keeping elderly and sickly people at home.

I am a hardcore centrist. My opinions are boring as frick; I want what's best for this country. I give 3 shits about ideology.

I do not have strong certainty in my prediction about whether or not normalcy returns in that time frame.

The situation is fluid, and the way it unfolds will be influenced by too many variables to allow prediction with confidence.

Liberals realize they’d lose money by giving up the extra $600 a week in unemployment if they have to go back to work.

Conservatives want to get back to work and get back up to their regular pay so they can stop having to try and live off that extra $600 a week.

For the millionth time, that extra $600 is temporary.

How temporary? You keep people on lockdown, you have to give them something. Some people want to stay locked down to keep getting a handout.

No shocker here. Even before COV 19 the liberals I know just seem to be unhappy about life anyway. Whether it be the politics, global warming, guns, etc. I always thought liberals were all about peace, love, and happiness. Lol NOT. I am a glass half full kind of guy we will get through this and be better from it.

The long the shutdown last, the longer the extra $600 lasts. Liberals don’t want the shutdown to end cause they know they’ll lose that extra $2400 a month when it does.

As temporary as their inability to work. The government essentially shut down their jobs. Their industries aren't hiring and honestly not many are.

Yep they ask your political affiliation on your unemployment benefit application so they can make sure the libs get the extra $600 and no conservative does.

If true, then conservatives are wrong and liberals are right. We will NOT return to normal in three months, nor in six months. We will not have crowded stadiums until we have herd immunity through contagion or via vaccine.

Conservatives are pro free enterprise, so this isn't surprising at all.
