I'm genuinely shocked Congress has taken time out from their endless Trump witch hunt to actually get some real work done. Now maybe this is a good sign. Wonder if they'll finally do something about the fact Social Security will be flat broke in a few years? Or is the Trump witch hunt still more important to them?

Have you tried the do not call registry? It works great for me.

This guy gets it. All of you acknowledged the call registries don’t work. Putting a law out there and then enforcing it is different. All of this is bullshite and transparently the government will be reactionary and never be ahead of this.

I don't understand why phone makers can't just make a simple feature that can block all calls from unidentified numbers.

I can't remember the last time I answered a call from a number I didn't know.

Of all the random places we drone strike, why can't we accidentally hit a couple robocall places?

Nice try, too bad anyone and their mother can see the difference.

Does this mean my computer will quit getting viruses that Windows Tech Support has to remove?

Best thing to do is open a virtual machine and let them into that.

Fantastic. Let me know when the FCC conducts raids in Russia and Africa.

This! The problems are coming from overseas calls.

Maybe we need to strengthen the Patriot Act to have all incoming foreign calls intercepted first by an American operator asking the caller's purpose (I'm spitballing, obviously).

The subcontinent is the biggest offender, IMHO.
