Both of their NFL teams are full of pros and cons

meh, it is not like you got to drive thru greenspoint to go from River oaks to tanglewood. It is just that treversing from point a to point b can be a pain in the arse.

The Houston Arrow is all fine places more or less. Now outside of that, you can run into some rough spots pretty quick.

Fort Worth is really ugly and shitty outside of the few nicer neighborhoods

I don't get the love affair with it here. big city problems without big city amenities

It has become the talking point of a bunch of people who have been to the stockyards once for some reason.

If you are “in” there, it’s an awesome place to live. If you are a normal Joe Blow, there really aren’t a ton of good jobs and a ton to do outside of the hokey tourist stuff.

to your point about high schools and new Orleans, it has always amused me that people think it's such a nola thing.

people care about that in every city, it's just that *you* are a transplant who associates with other transplants so you don't see it.

what? it's definitely a NOLA thing. go to Houston, Dallas, FW, Austin, wherever and ask someone where they went to school, and they're telling you their college. in NOLA they're telling me some random high school i've never heard of.

I don’t recall needing to strong point any buildings while dropping my kids off at school this morning.

For Texas, millenials are the first generation in mass that grew up here. Obviously there are people with deep roots in Texas but for the most part the population boom was with the invention of A/C

There isn't generations of townies like there is in New Orleans.

maybe slightly lower humidity?

So, 70% vs 80%?

that would be slighter.

and i jsut looked it up, and average Houston summer humidity is 85-90% and Dallas is 65-75%. so what is said is exactly right.
