I have a Kia Forte because of my commute, and I love it. I get about 40MPG on interstate if I just cruise at 75 nonstop. I've gotten as high as 45MPG at 55mph cruising. It can meet your criteria easily.

One yr ago I bought my wife a used Optima with all of those features plus many more. It was one model yr old and had 8k miles. Gets around 32 mpg. Decent acceleration and comfortable. She has put about 30k miles on it and have had zero maintenance issues with the car. She loves it.
I forgot to add I paid $19k for the car.

I bought a used Toyota Carolla, 2008 I bought in 2013 with 44k miles. Been a great car. Put 60k miles in 3 years on it. I have to say, it's nice filling up once a week compared to three times for a quarter of the price.

Mazda 6
This is my personal commuter. I have a 2012 with over 80k miles bought new. Been a great car and I average over 30 mpg.

Thanks everybody.
So far the Mazda 6, the Accord sport, the optima, VW passat, Mustang GT
, and a few others are the major contenders. Over the next few weeks I'll get to the dealerships and drive all of them.
The Accord sport seems to have the nicer interior compared to the Mazda 6, but I like the exterior of the 6 more.

We actually own two Mazda3s. The 2016 I described earlier and a 2010. Both are great cars. I test drove the new Civic too. The seats are more comfortable and the backseat is a lot more roomy than 3. It just was not as fun to drive and was more expensive

Camry or Accord are your best options.

So I ran across the Accord ex-l v6 used in my price range, if used with 20k or less miles.
I like the interior more.
Any experience with the pros/cons when compared to the Accord sport?

Not with that trim, but Honda makes a solid sedan. Can't go wrong.

I'm pimping a Sonata, cheap and not shabby at all
Camry would always be an option

At risk of the ire of the OT, I test drove a Ford Fusion this week and it was fantastic. 30mpg. Fords SYNC system is a lot of fun. Very affordable.

You can get an infiniti sedan for under 25k and under 30k miles that would fit your list.

I'll keep my truck, but 16 mpg isn't going to be fun at 100 miles a day
25k will buy a lot of gas these days.
