Yea, I got suckered on this one. First time buying one and doing the whole dealer thing. Just kills me every time I make that payment knowing I got screwed.
Even though I sell cars, I know that feeling about giving your hard earned $ to a bad decision. Now I know in your shoes I would not have even kept the car for more than a year. If you decide to look at nissan or toyota, or used vehicles, email me. GL with decision
re: Am i getting the run around? Car dealership related. Update in OP****

It is called human error on 90% the time that a price is listed incorrectly, not trying to bait & switch. Multiple dealerships pay 3rd party sources to put advertisement and pricing out there for us (dealerships pay cars.com and others, that is how they make profit obviously) and that 3rd party may mistype equipment, pricing, or vehicle all together (ever seen pictures of an Impala/Chevrolet product but listed make and model was neither). It is rare that is happens but I have seen it about dozen times over the years at the dealerships I have worked at, and other dealerships. All Star Chrysler once had a new 2016 C200 listed in paper and online (same 3rd party soruce) for $117 (yes one hundred and seventeen dollars). My phone blew up that day about that stock #, of course, but was corrected that day.

Highlander is a little bigger. But not more expensive, if anything a few hundred.
OP, buy a Toyota so your not just throwing $ away on a POS with more risk than reward involved

Dont buy Kia! They make good product but if your not under warranty and/or plan to get rid of it with a payoff, then I worry for you. GL

It's really not that hard to buy a car.. they're going to make money.. these dealers live in mansions not trailer homes.. just be smart they don't have to make it all on you
It is not hard to buy a car, and dealer does not always make $, promise you that. The owners of the dealerships live in mansions, majority of people in business live in average to below average homes, I dont know where everyone thinks salespeople or people that work at dealerships make some much $, if that was the case there would be more people in the business.

What you looking for? Email me(under my profile) and Ill see what I can find.
To answer your question, obvious dealers start at retail price, most discount after 20-30 days being on lot then continue to discount until sold (2 of the 4 dealers I have worked for have a 65 day turnover program). But margins vary from cost (amount of $ in vehicle) to $2500-3k above, the days of having $6k plus markup are over (especially since banks finance off trade value, not retail value).

Prius has been push button start since they came out (my mother's 05 has push button start), but trucks are a different story. I prefer non-push button on my Platinum Tundra, I had a push button car before and I just did not care for the feature. But I just want to see redesign and features, but mainly powerplant

They have not talked about powertrain in redesign, but diesel may be an option.

Just did training with Toyota, they have officially stated that FT1 (supra successor) will be produced in 2018! So no more of these bloggers and gossip, its actually coming.
And Tundra will be redesigned in 2019.

Do not buy a vehicle with rebuilt title, especially it was rolled, you dont know what long term damage is on vehicle. Especially if you are not getting huge discount (he bought the truck for probably around $6k from insurance company).

Progressive is who I have and they are awesome (customer service when was in wreck, claims, or just asking questions). Also call and they qualify other discounts you cant select online (college degree, etc).
