- Never trust anyone (but make sure your relationships are give and take. Its not as simple as "never trust anyone". You can perceive to trust someone in order to establish certain relationships)
- Loyalty is overrated.
- Never let anyone push you around (take advantage of you).
- Never burn bridges.
- Never assume you will never need anything from someone again (this goes back to never burning bridges).
- The best way to learn about life is to live it. You will make mistakes, just make sure you gain something from the mistakes.
- Always be respectful to others unless they give you a reason not to. And don't let anyone take you being respectful to them as weakness.
- Own up to what you do. Take responsibility for your actions.
- Take every opportunity to help people, but be sure they are truly in need (in other words, don't give beggars anything, but if you know people are in need, help out).
