One million dollars in 100 dollar bills weighs about 22 pounds. One billion dollars in 100 dollar bills weighs about 11 tons.

A lightening bolt is approximately 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun.

The northernmost point in Brazil is closer to Canada than it is to the southernmost point in Brazil.

The closest U.S. state to the continent of Africa is Maine.

All colors are made in your mind. They don't actually exist.

Yes the wave length of the light is real but it has no color as we perceive it. The wave length is just transmitted to the brain as an electrical signal and the brain makes colors up.

Nothing in the universe is any color. Colors aren't real.

In 1972, Loma, Montana had a 103 degree temperature swing in on day, going from -54 degrees to 49 degrees in a 24 hour period.
The fastest temperature change ever recorded was in Spearfish, South Dakota, with a rise of 49 degrees in just two minutes.

We can take photos of galaxies undecillions of miles away but we can't point a camera at the moon and take photos of the lunar landers.

Go put a tiny ant on a giant spot light a the end of your street and try to focus on that ant.

Now go put an billion spot lights together 100 miles away, with no light pollution or obstructions in the way and tell me which one appears more clear.

ETA: Other space agencies, India’s for example, have taken photos of our lunar landers with their moon rovers that orbit the moon. Same as how a low orbit satellite on earth can zoom in and take a picture of a car on earth.

Both the laws of thermodynamics and theory of "evolution" can't both be true. The former states that the entire universe and everything in it are always "winding down," while the latter says that the complex systems we see around us (life being the most obvious example) necessarily "put themselves together" purely by chance and time.

Yes they can. Why? Because locally, on our planet, we essentially have a limitless supply of energy.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the total entropy (disorder) of an isolated system always increases over time. However, this law applies to isolated systems, where no energy is added.

As noted above, Earth is NOT an isolated system—it constantly receives energy from the Sun, which fuels processes like photosynthesis and weather patterns. This allows life to exist.

With a continuous input of energy, localized decreases in entropy (increased order) can and does happen. For example, how a seed grows into a complex tree or how ice can form in a freezer.

Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it can't happen.

There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all the beaches on Earth, yet the number of stars equals the same amount of molecules in just 10 drops of water.
