I'm sure I'll catch hell for this but I understand that Denis Leary stole Hicks' routine but I think he did a better version of Hicks. It's more balanced and not just raw rage. Balance is the key to all good comedy. You can rage, but you have to turn it back on yourself and laugh to even it out. Bill Burr is the master of it.

Leary has never had any good social or political commentary like Hicks did. His thoughts on upcoming Presidents: LINK

Turn this 180deg.
Never understood why people didn’t like Dane Cook. That dude slayed me. Had to pull over listening to him in the car because I was laughing so hard.

I will say Tom Segura is my favorite. Everyone else is mostly lame.

I saw Mitch, Dave Attell and Lewis Black together years ago. Fantastic show. When did you have your funny bone removed?

Mitch Hedberg... saw him about 20 years ago. Worst stand up performance I’ve ever seen. No laughs, no giggles, just a dead silent room for the entirety of his set. Maybe his dumb brand of “comedy” was hilarious to some people, but after witnessing it live I can honestly say the guy just sucked arse at what he did.

I can’t believe we are on page 6 and I’m the first person to mention Bobcat Goldthwait. I don’t understand his appeal at all.

Sarah Silverman has essentially one joke that she just repeats in various forms. We get it, you have a baby voice and say dirty things.

Nick DiPaolo isn’t funny at all and is just the epitome of an obnoxious, opinionated New Yorker. He’s Colin Quinn without jokes.

Andrew Dice Clay is terrible.

Chappelle is an all time legend but his new stuff is bad. Just like how people think Metallica, Eminem, and Kanye eventually lost it. It’s too early but Louis CK might be in that category too.

All comics have bad nights. Mitch was also a Heroin addict who often performed wasted out of his mind on occasion which probably didn't work out so well. He's top of the list for me. Even if I was lucky to see him and he bombed, I couldn't hold the one performance against him.

Don't know if he's a comedian as such but Chevy Chase is as unfunny as they come.

Tom Segura

His material isn't bad but his bland delivery just makes it awful in my opinion. He's definitely not the worst, I just don't get the love for him.

I never understood why people found Ralphie May funny.

Also anything Bo Burnham did after Words Words Words.
