Take off from the 3 liter bottle thread. How many of you ole baws remember yellow, pink, blue and floral toilet paper? Seems to have disappeared around the late 80s. I think there was a problem with the dyes causing allergic reactions in some people.

Was expecting something different, you’re on a roll.

I thought this was gonna be a rant about someone.

That was the reason given to the public: "Health and environmental concerns" because of the dyes. Truthfully, the TP manufacturers deemed it too expensive to produce.

I still remember my marine vet grandfather giving hell to my grandmother when he found out that all of the TP was pink.

Sounds like an insult hurled by someone's 90yo grandpa

I remember my grandma having some. Her bathroom looked kind of like this but not to same extreme.
Whenever one of the grandkids would go to take a dump she would make sure they didn't lock the door because what if they fell and hit their head?

With today’s technology and knowledge of chemicals, I am pretty sure a hypoallergenic version could be made. It may not be that hot pu$$y pink or electric blue that some people crave as to match the decor.

"Wipe your stink with some Pink"

Imagine someone using brown or black toilet paper. You may never know if it is visually clean. I guess one could make an eco friendly TP that is unbleached.

My Paw Paw hated the tan colored toilet paper with little brown flowers on it. He said how in the hell am I supposed to tell if I'm done wiping?

My grandma always had those. She had color coordinated bathrooms.

both my grandma and my aunt. My grandma had little tiny rose hand soaps to match the flowers on the TP. They sat in a tiny pink ceramic dish shaped like a bathtub and we were not allowed to use them.
We are either all gonna die young or we are going to live forever with all of the chemicals and unnecessary dyes we were exposed to.
