This guy is committing violent felonies but has a disability as a result of pneumonia when he was a baby according to his mother. His disability makes him commit violent crimes and is so bad he can't stand trial, but he's not a danger to himself or the public where he would need to be committed? Yeah, that makes a ton of sense

Well the shooting happened after so not really fair to Monday morning quarterback that aspect.
Were the 6 felonies six separate incidents or was it one incident that was spun into 6 charges with questionable evidence that then was pled down? Makes a huge difference as to my opinion.
Just because someone was accused of something doesn’t automatically mean you toss them in the slammer and throw away the key. Is that really so controversial?

Very true. My daughter (no pics) is a Belmont PT student. She said that’s not a great area. It’s a small area between several good places. She feels like it will have changed and be gentrified in 5-6 years. It’s so sad though. Caught in the crossfire. Daughter was telling me earlier that the girl probably won’t make it and if she does, her life will look at lot different with a serious brain injury.
