hey also had a bar in the apartment complex. I can't remember the name of it though.

If I'm thinking of the correct place, it was a pretty good bar and had some decent food. I remember watching a superbowl there and having some good evenings hanging out there 25 years or so ago.
Damn I'm getting old.

If Baton Rouge surpasses 175 murders this year that’s only 25 away from 200 which is insane considering the city proper is 230,000 people

I have a hard time finding a decent crime stats website these days. The advocate used to keep up with murders but they don't do it anymore to my knowledge. Anyone have a decent place to look this up?

Loser progressive Democrat mayor and loser POS incompetent police chief who both are unqualified and incapable of doing their jobs and probably any other job they would get.

Both should be run out of town.

But both will probably retain their positions.

The mayors of BTR and NO don’t have any idea either, much less any plan to curtail it.

That would require not playing the victim and admitting that a certain section of the population is more prone to violent crime than the others.

Play politics all you want, but show me the Fortune 500 companies that are flocking to Baton Rouge or the elite public schools that you have in Texas or Georgia.

Play the Democrats vs Republicans card all you want but that’s just a surface complaint related to partisan delusion.

Look at the top 15 fastest growing areas in the US and you’ll more than likely find a mix of democratic and Republican areas.

Not everything is red vs blue like this board likes to think 24/7.

Hawk’s next was over by Independence park I think! I used to know some ladies that were the managers back in the 80s. Nice club back in the day.

This makes 4 fatal shootings in about 2 hours today.

But I heard there's a press conference tomorrow because a white cop was seen making a right on red where prohibited.

I think Hawk's Nest was off of Sherwood back by where Mangos is now unless I'm confusing it with another place. I've been there many times.

Ray Smith started the Hawks Nest on Lobdell and Goodwood. Same strip center that DR. Billy Canon had his practice. Then he moved it off Sherwood mid 80's or so.

I thought so. Dr Cannon's Sil is my neighbor actually. Super sweet lady. She has to be in her 90s now.

I want to blame the negative press that has been exponentially worse lately.
They're constantly laying rose petals down wherever Biden walks now, but the press is on to race baiting stories.

It’s shite like this and the deafening silence from our bitch mayor that makes me hate the city that I grew up in.

Makes me sick.
