Damn, I used to live there. But it was a long time ago so it couldn't have been me.

I played golf at Webb Park this afternoon...could have been me catching stray bullets on the 5th green.

I didn't know they had tennis courts. You ever get your Pete Sampras on back in the day?

I've never played tennis but we did used to play Webb all the time. They also had a bar in the apartment complex. I can't remember the name of it though.

We are talking 20 years ago when I lived there. I had just moved back to BR and was working downtown.

I know crime is up everywhere across the US, but New Orleans and Baton Rouge the last few months is exponentially worse, especially per capita considering population differences between larger cities.

If Baton Rouge surpasses 175 murders this year that’s only 25 away from 200 which is insane considering the city proper is 230,000 people.

Played on those courts a few times, combined with some afternoon cocktails at the “lounge.”

Not a bad place to live 20 years ago.

I lived in Place Du Plantier in the early 2000s, and this was the sister property, owned by the same company

Place went downhill when they burned down the club.

It seems like the last few years it's been out of control in BR. I don't understand what's causing the spike.

It’s appalling and I really feel it’s just going to get worse.

The mayors of BTR and NO don’t have any idea either, much less any plan to curtail it.
