there was one team, can't remember who, that tried to give him a private workout but he kept changing the time and location repeatedly including at the last minute multiple times, then when it was set to occur he didn't even show.

I think it was Atlanta. Can’t remember for sure.

It was actually the NFL itself that organized the private workout for him and on the day of, his people shifted the location 60 miles away and opened the private workout up to the public. His camp also threw a fit over a liability waiver the league wanted signed for a no pad workout .

The workout was supposed to take place in Atlanta but it wasn't a falcons thing. All 32 teams were invited. Pretty funny that a league who is actively blackballing a guy would go out of their way to organize all of this for that same fella. Weird innit?

It's incredible to me how he turned out given his upbringing. He really hates part of himself.

I've known some folks who have adopted and sometimes it works really well but other times, there seems to be this entitlement and victim mentality that the kid just can't break that they carry into adulthood.

Grifting. Anything claiming racism in 2026 is a grift, and I’m black.

Colin did not discover black activism, until a white man beat him out for his job

He wants to play so much that he never signed with Canada or a spring league to prove himself, pulled a ridiculous workout stunt that turned off several teams that came to scout him, and sabotaged himself every time an NFL team showed interest.

You can’t be a victim if you actually try and succeed now can you?

There was also that whole deal with the Ravens wanting to sign him and him/his lady absolutely nuking that possibility.

Obviously. He knew that the whole grift falls apart if he would've been exposed as no longer capable. Not worth the risk...stay a professional victim.

Is Kap still sitting by the phone, waiting for it to ring?

Kap is the NFL version of Yasser Arafat. Everything offered to him, and nothing makes him happy.

Maybe half of the OT knows who Yasser is.

A lot of money to be made in playing the victim role. He is a professional at it now. It’s all he has.

He is an idiot. Someone pumped his head up and made him think he could quit football and make close to the same amount being an activist, probably his girlfriend at the time.

It still bothers me that no one ever mentions what really happened. He didn't want to play for Chip Kelly. He started kneeling.. I think the 3rd preseason game... Teams start making their final cuts (or maybe they were still having 4 preseason games then) and him getting cut was the only way out of his contract. Then I would assume someone approached him about being a leader of the civil rights cause or whatever. He gets a deal with Nike and a Netflix documentary when he said that making millions of dollars playing in the NFL was like being a slave.. He was adopted by a white family and lived in Wisconsin before the family moved to California where he went to one of the best public schools in the state, becomes an NFL QB.. He really experienced struggle.. Moron
