Blazer 86.7% of the time.
Some Friday’s I go casual.

Jeans and a polo these days. I've had jobs where I had to wear a tie, but never a coat. Most have been business casual.

Is this still a thing?
I've been working for over 20 years now, and I don't remember when wearing a tie in the office was a thing.

Button up non polo shirt and nice slacks. Keep a sports jacket to put on for important meetings or if giving a presentation.

Shorts and sandals from May-September/October. Jeans & boots other months. Jeans if I have to go to the courthouse or meet a landowner.

I work for a mom & pop office. President/CEO wears basketball shorts, a polo and house slippers into the office sometimes
.
It's jeans and an untucked polo, with a hat for me every day. Overwhelmingly casual and easy going environment there.

Some of our field guys came to the office at the beginning of a pretty major project and they were better dressed then the office personnel. It was embarrassing to me but everyone else didn’t care at all.

I don’t think that literally anyone does this anymore. Maybe some bankers still do. I don’t know. I’m a lawyer and I don’t know a single lawyer wears a suit to work since covid. Even if you have court you put on the coat and tie for court and take it off after. Those days are long gone.

All chaps are assless. If not they'd be pants. I recently figured this out.

Golf shorts and a polo.
Dress for the job you want. I want to play golf and drink beer all day.
