West Coast and tech-oriented firms yes, but East Coast white-shoe firms still have a lot of suit-and-tie culture left.
Very few. Again, maybe litigators more so than corporate, but I’ve worked in NYC biglaw going on 20 years now, and suits and ties are few and far between for corporate attorneys. Yes, industry group can affect that too.

Most of my lawyer friends tell me they only wear suit and tie when meeting in person with clients or going to court. Otherwise if just in the office it is casual.

Covid finally killed off our ties.
Coats are still mandatory for management.

You dress to your personality.
We have partners that come in in blazers and button downs. They wear it well. We also have partners who sell the frick out of business that come in in polos and khakis.
We have associates that come in in colorful button-downs and fun shoes.
We have some that come in in casual polo and, loose fitting, but put together.
I typically wear a solid color polo, slacks, and nice shoes.
Only C-suite wear ties

On the finance side, maybe only in investment banking.
Varies from shop to shop. Most commercial banks I’m familiar with don’t leave their office without a jacket on. Although, ties are rarer and rarer. Jackets are usually a must Monday - Thursday.
Most law firms I’m familiar with are the same way.

Button down, tie, and slacks. I draw the line at coats.
This was my "go to" when I had to go into the office and work outside sales.
We had a corporate HQ in Connecticut and they wanted to require jackets.
We invited the CEO to Atlanta in July and suggested that he ride along to some of our best clients.
Almost all of the clients were in Polo shirts. He conceded that button down and tie was sufficient business attire.
