So sensitive. Your reading comprehension is lacking again also. I was mocking the fact that you try to pass yourself off as an expert on here and hadn't even bothered to look at any models before making those statements.

Didn’t comment on their meaning either.
Saying we only need to focus on the last two is in fact commenting on their meaning.

I was only asking for the reason that if the TX hospitals weren't ever in danger of being overrun that they have some buffer room to accommodate more cases in case this wave is as bad as they claim it is.
Fair enough. Given your tone on other posts on this topic I didn’t think you were asking honest questions. I apologize.
As of now, the entire state has around a 1000 built ICU beds that are not utilized.
Assuming they can figure out staffing, they have the hardware capacity to surge another 5k beds.
Which is why I’m not particularly worried.
The only caveat is that these are state wide numbers and a surge, if needed, will be localized. Once someone is in an ICU bed they aren’t moving them around to spread the load.

Yeah, I can see how you saw it that way. All good.

That's what I was wondering about

Oh hey. It’s the main guy who mocked the 100k threshold breach approximation which turned out to be correct
Considering the “experts” have admitted they are VERY liberal with what is counted as a COVID death what do you think the actual number is. I’m being generous when I say it’s probably around 70 K.

Man, they really are fear mongering. How is it possible that a 2nd shutdown would be worse than the 1st when we didn't know much of anything about this virus when it first hit, but now we know much more about who is mostly at risk for serious complications and many people already have the antibodies for it? Also, Trump has been saying "no" to a possible 2nd shutdown.

they were specifically talking about the effects on the economy

People actually think citizens will be as cooperative after cities across the US let people protest while acting like COVID magically disappeared?

I don't understand what "gotcha" you are attempting here?
Can you explain why Trump pushing hard for a vaccine somehow makes the idea that the same people admonishing people for going to the beach, were then celebrating mass protests a week later, less absurd?
I mean, it's not a gotcha. If you think it is you've been conditioned to think it must be.
My question about Warp Speed isn't driven by the MSM or the medical institutions like Johns Hopkins... it's by the Administration.
So. If this fear of Covid is a hoax - or even if it isn't - who is benefiting from a 10B project from the White House itself to eradicate, well, nothing? It's not CNN. It's not Libs.

Pay attention to the way hospitalizations are being reported. A lot of news outlets are reporting on hospitals filling up but don't claim those hospitalizations are related to covid. Very sneaky.
This isn't the gotcha you think it is

We ain't shutting shite back down.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, not gonna happen.

It was absolutely a "gotcha" question.

See?
Only retarded people thing any of this is a hoax. Has it been politicized? Absolutely.
Do you think Trump will not use a working vaccine to his advantage? How many times do you think Trump will pound his chest and shout that he cured COVID if he gets a vaccine out this fall?

It’s very weird around here right now. From Austin to San Antonio all along I-35 the cases are booming. Since this began I hadn’t known anyone with it until two weeks ago. I now know 6 people positive and one of those is on a ventilator and was moved from new Braunfels to San Antonio, her left lung completely Shut down.

Listen
For example: If CNN is wishcasting a shutdown and people say it's a political hoax, shouldn't those same people wonder where 10B is going? Why bother with a vaccine at all? Conversely, why not ask the hard question of WTF spend tax payer dollars on something that's clearly a CNN fake news attempt?

But that's impossible. The OT experts told us that the summer heat would kill it.
How old are your acquaintances?

Other OT experts said this would kill 1.6 million Americans. This virus is nowhere near what the media sold to us.

I'm just trying to wade through the minutiae to figure out where people in the hoax crowd stand on Warp Speed. Covid can't be every position all at once while picking and choosing positions mid-stream, can it?
1. The virus is real
2. The virus has been politicized, with the democrats now wanting shutdowns for political gains
3. A vaccine helps illogical people get back to normal as well as helps trump claim victory over the virus
None of these are conflicting theories you weirdo
