It’s horrible here, so don’t think of moving to TN. They have plenty of room in NC and KY. Definitely go there.

Besides Joe Kernan and Rick Santelli, CNBC is a complete joke.

Jim Cramer the Clown is the perfect face for that network.

Memphis
The only city my employer has banned us from parking overnight. It's an instant "coaching" for the first occurrence, termination for the second - that's how bad the cargo theft is in that town. Company bought fenced-in land across the river in WMemphis with security gates for drivers to park at, eventually turning into a full blown terminal because the theft got so bad at the truck stops in WMemphis.

That whole area really is the shitstain of this country.

Being last on the list of the “worst” would make them first in quality of life.

Much as I hate to admit, carve out Memphis and it shoots to 1.

But I’m glad they ranked Tennessee last. Hopefully mfers will stop moving here.

Exactly. TN is a terrible place to live, so everyone stop moving here. In fact, please move to another state...for your sake. Specifically move away from middle TN to anywhere else.

That is bullshite. I have lived in Tennessee for 25 years. In my rural area there is almost no crime, people are super friendly, and the only traffic is the occasional tractor. I have lived in other states and this is the best quality of life by far.

Why just single out Edwards? Republican governors have been shite too. This isn't limited to a single party or governor. They are all horrible.

This thread would probably gain more traction if you frame it as Texas being the second worst state to live in

What makes life in Tennessee so bad?

According to the CNBC study, Tennessee's weaknesses include the crime rate, inclusiveness and worker protections.
