Trace Adkins is unamused.

the newest member of his band is bassist extraordinaire Ben Guidry, West Monroe HS, class of '98, i think. Formerly with Tracey Lawrence, Chuck Wicks, Julianne Hough, Josh Thompson (actual name "Bagels"), Kyle Daniel, Aaron Lines, Jackson Hill and others.

The Badonkadonk is gonna have a new groove.

Music has always evolved. I was never a big country music fan (with that said George Strait is one of my favorite musical artist), but I like some of the country music today..

I like this dude Nico Moon..

No Sad Songs

But the problem with music in general is that it has all gone pop, which I blame the record labels on. They want music that is easier to to market.. By having a hard rock band for example, will only appeal to the hard rock fans.. Country.. If its too country the fanbase is limited so they have to make it country pop to appeal to more people.

These artist need to start doing what rap artist do.. Like Chance the Rapper. His first album he released it himself strictly on streaming services. Did his own marketing. His third album won a grammy for the best rap album ahd every album he released was just on streaming services.

These record labels have fricked so many people over the years, I would think more artist would do it that way, but I guess there is a bigger risk doing it that way.

Hell, George Jones said it years and years ago - They committed Murder Down on Music Row. Truth to tell it's been going down hill since Hank Williams died with a strong but temporary resurgence when Willie Nelson, Waylon Kennings and a few others were at their creative peaks.
