I’m by no means a soccer fan and know very little about the sport. I only watched the game because I was invited to a watch party. Belgium clearly was the better team and came out with a much stronger sense of urgency than the US. We didn’t deserve to win.

No. We just looked like a country where soccer is maybe the 5th or 6th most popular sport playing countries where soccer is the most popular sport. We just dont prioritize it or really care much about it as a country.

I don't know much about Soccer, but I don't think the refs had anything to do with that. It reminded me of a few years ago when Vanderbilt was on a little run and that gay little DLineman from Vanderbilt ran his mouth about how Bama was next.... and then Bama beat them 59-0. We just didn't really look like we belonged with Belgium at all.
