Thanks for the correction.
I can reframe.
He thinks his ex was crazy. Did everything possible through the doctors to address her mental health.
And he has a civil suit against the medical community for the death of his kids.
The state called him to confirm timelines. The facts of the crime scene. The mental and medical journey of his wife.
But he does not believe she is criminally liable.

This woman needs a hit put on her
But women are emotional.
FWIW I think that for all of the anger on this Board, if most posters were on a jury, they would take the job seriously and try to be open minded.
My husband was on a murder trial jury where a drug user killed his dealer, but was it self-defense???
He was drained when it was all over.

Manslaughter with full 20 years being served. No pro rata good days served, no parole.

Wouldn’t it be 30 since she killed 3 people?

No jury sent a note. It was read and answered.
Audio was lost, so we didn’t get to hear the question or answer.

Kind of surprised not more are invested in this trial, myself included. Tragic situation however you cut it.

How many of them are loving mothers who would kill for their children?
All it takes is one childless lefty lunatic to come back with a hung jury.

more likely scenario is this jury has multiple leftist lunatics and we need at least one of the three men to have a backbone to at least get to a hung jury and a retrial

How did the prosecution screw up so bad during jury selection?
They only had Massachusetts natives to choose from?

This case has caused me to reexamine my thoughts on white privilege.
I absolutely think there is significant white woman privilege at play here. If she was black, Asian, Hispanic... basically any demographic other than white, female, and middle/upper middle class, she wouldn't have a fraction of the supporters or excuses being made for her.

Who could have known women would go from fierce mama bear to "it's ok to kill your kids if you feel sad" between selection and now?
The women that fight ferociously to kill their children by pill, scraper, coat hanger, and even after they're born? Those women?

They requested to see the two pill bottles and the knife.
Both were denied.

I 1000% disagree.
The trial is an indictment on modern medicine.
Add race to this, and you get a media narrative that is craved/invented. There is not enough supply of that narrative to meet the media demand.
Too many on the board think this is post partem depression.
This is serious Jacob's Ladder shite.
If there was a sniff of "systemic" Healthcare issues against a minority, this would blow up even more.
Fewer people would not know that this isn't a case of post partem depression.

I disagree. It's already been proven that 1) she wasn't following the medication instructions given by the doctors, and 2) she was only on like 2 meds when she committed the murders.
I agree that it was not a case of postpartum or psychosis. She was never diagnosed with either.

I dont think the defense claims that she is cured. She has additional emotional stresses that weren't there before (she killed her kids, jumped out of a window, and is paralyzed). From watching the trial, she appeared to be in psychosis weeks after the murder. It wasnt a 20 minute crazy. The prosecution's opening remarks were, "she isnt that crazy". The closing remarks were, "she is bat shite crazy but knew what she was doing. Too many coincidences".
Just say she’s innocent it would save us the time of reading your bullshite.

I’m not blaming him, but I’m sure that the guilt for him has to be brutal. He has to think that there are other things he should have done differently.
I hope that he finds peace in his new marriage.
Just gut wrenching.
