Cities that rely most heavily on speeding tickets. Surprising results.

Honestly never expected to see this. Golden Meadow and Opelousas need to step it up. Louisiana small towns laugh at Georgia Super Speeders.

I've never even heard of most of these towns in LA.

Louisiana is first at something

Man that is beyond pathetic.

Nothing more satisfying in life than the state changing I-49 to 75 right before Washington and screwing them out of a lot of speeding tickets. Sometimes I don't even see them out there anymore.

If you've never been pulled over in Georgetown, you've never been through Georgetown

Add Livonia and Crotch Springs to the list.

All of them are drivethru cities while enroute to better locales

I can believe Georgetown and Tullos, but why the hell isn't Krotz Springs on that list??

They are literally municipalities that only exist as municipalities to give speeding tickets.
It’s beyond pathetic.

My guess is they have a large enough tax base that through the % off
Doesn't Krotz Itch, have a Walmart distribution center?

Robeline ain't no joke. 35 mph means 35, not 36.

Let these towns DIE!

I have 0 respect for any law enforcement in those towns.

All the boudin stops have boosted their sales tax collections. There’s no actual business establishments in a lot of these other places.

4 of the top 15 are along Hwy. 165 in Louisiana, including the top 2. Imagine.

Surprised St. Gabriel isn't on here, but I guess they get some plant based revenue.
Posted on 8/26/19 at 1:47 pm to KamaCausey_LSU
My guess is a lot revenue somehow doesn't get reported.
