Say you were doing 76 in a 75. They'll just put down 79 with the idea that even if you fight it, you'll still admit to speeding.
That’s why I lie back and say I wasn’t going a mile over 74

You’re thinking of Washington.

It recently came out that the previous Town Administration was budgeting $1,000,000 per year for traffic fines. This was purely to fill a hole in the budget. ??

Do the math using an average fine of, oh, $250 per offense. See what you get. ??

Lol Georgetown:

According to the United States Census Bureau, Georgetown has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), of which 0.004 square miles (0.01 km2), or 0.25%, is water.[

What is the argument to get the dismissal? I may need it one day.

Don't you basically just ask to see the evidence against you, including the make/model of radar gun, specs, last calibration date, etc? And if they can't prove that your speed was clocked accurately, you're clear?

Or if the ticketing officer doesn't show, it's dismissed automatically?

Some of these cops probably write a couple dozen tickets per shift.

The state AG shut down the Henderson speed trap a few years ago. The construction now makes it impossible for them to do it anyway.

Never heard of those first 8 Louisiana towns.

Got a ticket in Forest Hill in college. They have a mean speed trap there.
