horseshite, will they get Bill Nye or some other bs artist to explain how that dam/water altered the overall mass of the planet?

The sole reason to every mention the 3 gorges dam is how to blow it up.

It will be the largest single point of electricity generation on earth. They will then sell the electricity to India at a good price.

They will then use that cheap electricity to basically control India politically for the foreseeable future.

Short answer: Leverage

Where does the water end up? If that river flows into India, that's even more leverage than electricity.

"The canyon is something like 20,000 feet deep. It's deeper than the deepest canyons even in the ocean."

The thing is, it's actually true that it slowed the Earth's rotation, just by an incredibly tiny amount. When you move mass further away from the Earth's center that is what happens. Like figure skaters who move their arms out and in to control the speed of rotation.

One thing I learned working in Chiner, they love em some concrete....but, from some of the test result I saw on their shitty concrete mix, I wouldn't be surprised to see a news flash that the damn gave way.

Everyone can drive in the same direction. Then, at the same time, hit the brakes.

Well technically, you throwing a baseball has an effect on the earth's rotation. It's infinitesimal and immeasurable, but that whole equal and opposite forces thing applies to everything.

That said, it's chicken shite "aktuwlllllllly" math. That big arse pond didn't do shite.

The area of the world where the dam is going is so remote that it wasn't even explored until the 1990s. Flora and fauna exists there that has never been documented. The canyon is something like 20,000 feet deep. It's deeper than the deepest canyons even in the ocean.

Some guys tried to kayak it and they canceled their trip after their leader died. Another guy tried to kayak it and died in the first mile. No one has tried it since.

Reading about it is absolutely insane

I'm just going to say I don't believe any of this. Sounds like propaganda written by some scientist(s) who don't want the damn built.

We all know that academics have no problem lying to the public if they believe its for the greater good.

If you can measure it then it did do "shite". The Earth is rotating .06 microseconds a day slower as a result of the change in the Earth's moment of inertia by moving more of the mass toward the equator.

A similar thing happened with the tsunami in Indonesia about 20 years ago, it shifted the Earth's tilt by 1 inch.

These mean little in the grand scheme, but if you don't find them interesting, then you can't be too curious of a person.
