We are bringing in masks and isolation gowns for a number of hospitals and China is fricking everything up. Prices on everything are 4 times as much as normal. The government isn't allowing products to leave the country. The number of flights leaving has dropped to so few flights that FedEx has tripled their rates.
There's a long arse list that they are doing and they are making so much money.
There's shady shite happening here too though.

How much do you trust that N 95 made in china? Enough to stake your life on it?

Here's a great idea: let's let one of the nastiest fricking cultures in the world be in charge of making the vast majority of our medicines and medical gear. What could possible go wrong?

Our company holds M/W/F CV19 update calls each week and during our call on Monday one of our site leaders mentioned they had purchased N95 mask back in February via Amazon and they were shipped from China. First time her daughter used one of the mask she had a rash on her face where the mask contacted her skin.
So easy answer. NO

It's always hopeful but the Russians and Saudi's will keep them in business. I do think we'll suck it up and produce and pay more for quality product vs rely on their junk.

bullshite. Put the blame where it belongs. If a company can save $1 they will go overseas. CEOs don't look long term, they want to get the stock up NOW and make their bonuses.
