We have a 23 model Yukon, which is similar to the Tahoe.
We love it. It’s comfortable, powerful, and makes our 4Runner feel like it’s from the Stone Age.
Just wait until you hit 75K miles, it will fall apart and your 4 Runner will keep running like the machine it is. We had both Tahoe and Yukon, absolute disasters after 75K. We bought a 4Runner after that and it's on 180K and we've only had to change tires, brakes and batteries.

I’ve had GM trucks before. Last one I had was sold with 175,000 miles.
It’s not a Dodge or Ford. I’m not worried.

GM keeps coming out with these upgraded SUVs and they suck be back in every time.
Thats because there is nothing like them on the road, especially the Yukon XL or Suburban. Huge, 4wd, 6.2L V8. Good Luck finding something like that from Japan. Sure, you'll have to get a new one every 6 years or so but who cares.

I love Toyota but the interior of the 4 Runners are so bland and the infotainment system is a 4-5 inch screen.

My wife (no pics) has a 2015 4Runner and it feels like it’s from the Stone Age. No push button start, nav and user interface on the radio screen are clunky and outdated AF, gas mileage is worse than my F150 with a V8.
Give me that ALL DAY LONG.
Most of that shite is easily fixable by adding after market stereo head unit, etc.
Fair price to pay for reliability.

We’ve got a 2008 Navigator L Limited that my wife drives. Been paid off for 11 years and it’s still going strong. I replaced the air suspension for the back shocks and installed coil over shocks. That’s it besides regular maintenance and she’s doing good at over 200,000 miles.
I’m in no hurry, but will downsize when we get rid of it. It’s been a great vehicle.

I always chuckle seeing Z71 versions of these boats. No one takes these things off the pavement.

No 42" infotainment screen no care.

I have no clue how people can pay these type of price tags on new vehicles. My 2008 Chevy with a Duramax with 278K is just as dependable as it was when I drove it off the lot. It'll haul my tractor and trailer, 5th wheel, or anything else I load on the trailer.
I'm just too much of a tight wad to pay that kind of money they get for em nowadays.

Ours is off pavement often, in 4wd probably once a month when it actually rains.

Any guesses on the price tag?

How old is the 4Runner? Even if it’s 10 years old now, its Stone Age self will still be running when the Chevy gives out.
See plenty of 20+ year old Chevys running around here.
Where we salt the roads btw.
Old Toyotas? Not so much.

Was coming to ask same. Pointless to load it up with adjustable suspension height and all the other off-road Bs with independent rear arms that hang only a Coke can’s height above the drive surface.
Other 'off road' rear independent suspension SUV's dont have that issue (Defender image below), so its clearly fixable in the design to some extent.

Exactly .5% of Tahoe owners give a shite about that.

You poor thing. That 4 Runner will still be running years after that Government Motors crap has been recycled
