Don't need to. I have a 2021 Tahoe with about 45k miles and it is a piece of shite. Also, I have a 2016 4runner and it has never had a problem.
Sucks to be you. I've done all the maintenance myself, with the exception of transmission flush (not full flush, but all fluids removed) myself and that was at 100k. First pad/rotor change was last summer. When the engine dies, I'll drop in a remanned one and maybe a new transmission and call it a day. Interior and exterior is in excellent shape, even after two kids and 12 years. The key is taking care of everything.
No mods on it except a chip to bypass the active fuel management so it stays in V8 the entire time. Great, great vehicle.

Lately been noticing a rubbing/grinding sound when turning first thing in the morning. Internet research says pretty common but no fixes from GM. Likely rear diff. Flushes don't help. We'll see how it goes but I love the vehicle.

I just hate the unnecessarily tall hood lines and bed lines of most modern trucks. Do work truck type stuff in my old early 90s straight 6 F150 v. a new truck and the new truck is such a gigantic PITA to use as an actual truck in comparison. Modern hood lines and belt lines are extremely tall across the board not just trucks. So many blind spots because of this makes it hard to drive without all the modern crash avoidance echnology. Get in a old 90's era car and it feels like you are driving in a fish tank by comparison. It's like, holy crap I can look around and see everything plain as day without having to use a backup camera.

The front looks squinty with the new headlight design. Kinda interesting that they went back to the column shifter after going to buttons on the current model. Overall, not bad. Similar to the truck refresh last year.

It is a pain to actually reach something in the bed on new trucks. Having to climb in the bed everytime does help keep the knees going though.

Multiple recalls. Had to replace the third-row seating. The amplifier going out and will have to be replaced. Back-up camera works only when it feels like it.

Yep, this is going on too.

Any guesses on the price tag?
Strictly a guess…up to 130k. I’ll keep my reliable old truck that doesn’t rely on a computer, and not be paying $1,000+ a month on a vehicle note. frick all that. I don’t need to impress anyone.

Does it still have AFM or displacement on demand? If so.. no sale.
GM took a fabulous 5.3 engine and f’d it up with that garbage. My cousin had a Silverado with displacement on demand and the thing quit on him one day. One of the AFM lifters came apart, it wedged in the bore, jammed the camshaft, and snapped the timing chain.
He had it towed to the nearest GM dealership to where it broke down, and it would have been 2 weeks to touch because of the other ones ahead… towed it to a local one and they were 3-4 weeks due to the same reason. Found another one that had room for a relatively quick fix.
Hell naw to that mess.

Overpriced junk. GM has been going downhill fast. Selling vehicles off their name at this point.

I have owned 4 chevys and all but one were total POS. 2 1500’s and 2 Tahoes. The new Chevy transmissions are complete garbage as well. Go ask your dealer service manager how many Transmissions are coming in with issues.

I found an X5 nearby for sale with a noisy timing chain. I thought about buying it and just leisurely replacing the timing chain and driving it.
I read up on what a PTA it is to do that job along with special tools you had to have and let that vehicle sit right where it was

What kind of Tahoe? I have a ‘21 Yukon Denali and have been hearing that rubbing sound when turning but only in the morning. I assumed it was something with the air suspension. Only other issue I’ve had is one of the side mirrors not going back to the saved setting but it randomly fixed itself.

They spend entirely to much on cheap flash rather than building a better vehicle.
My GMC Sierra 1500 and the wife's (no pics) Tahoe agree.
Never again will I pay that kind of money for a vehicle that starts breaking down with little things months after the warranty expires, despite dealer maintenance rigorously followed per their specifications.
There's something to be said for Toyota's conservative design philosophy, and strong emphasis on CQI build process.

Anecdotal, so take it for what it’s worth, but my brother has a ‘21 Tahoe that’s doing the same thing. He said the dealership says they’re instructed to replace the gear oil in the rear end twice, then if it still makes the noise, replace the rear end. They just tried with the oil for the second time and it didn’t help. So it’s going to the shop.
He used to be a mechanic at the same dealership. According to him, and I think this is common knowledge now, on the 5.3’s, you have a 50/50 chance that the lifter spring on the #6 cylinder gets weak and fails around the 75k mile mark. When it goes, you get a bent valve and may need a replacement piston depending on severity.
He also said you have the same odds of a solenoid going out in the transmission and losing 2nd and 3rd.
He said he refuses to have a GM that’s out of warranty.

He simply said he doesn’t like push start. The only stupid thing is your thinking that’s an opinion. It’s a fact for him-he doesn’t like push start.

Agreed, doesn’t have a ton of power but plenty of torque. I love mine
