As long as BK is coach, I’ll continue to have low expectations, especially opening games.

Stopped watching a while ago. Only seen a few plays (while sitting at a bar waiting for a to go drink) in the last 4 years.

Maybe I'm petty but the university and AD went too woke.

I’m disappointed but not absolutely devastated like I would be in the past.

I sort of lost interest in all football as a whole when the NFL (and to a lesser extent the NCAA) started pushing all their woke causes. Now the NIL has all but ruined college football as well.

I'm good. Kyle McCord and the Orange looked decent this weekend.

Back in the day l would be despondent after a loss. When the game was over, I went to bed and woke up to grill today feeling great. It’s a football game. No need to stress over it. Decided many years ago to get rid of season tickets and use that money to go on a great vacation every year. Between what tickets cost plus hotel, parking, eating and alcohol for a season, I can go to exotic places each year and not think twice about it. Easiest decisionI ever made.

Not since I was in my early 20's. In fact I'm usually in a better mood knowing I probably won't have to be pissed at losing a playoff berth. Clears up a lot of Saturday afternoons and evenings.

In.

Have grown accustomed to the opening game loss under Kelly and didn’t believe we were going to mop the floor with USC.

Missed opportunities. Coaching staff and team will be better. Do not abandon what was working.

Just my first person perspective, me and my friends stopped caring as passionately about sports teams once we hit our 30s.

In my early 20s, my whole day would have been ruined with a Saints or FSU loss.

We'll never have a team as good as 2019. Really makes it easy to watch now for me.
This.

The Saints’ SB win in 2010 and the Tigers’ magical season of 2019 have lanced the boil for me forever.

I’ve had Saints season tickets since ‘06 and I haven’t gone to a game since’19.

I go to one LSU football game a year and am about done with those (at least in dysfunctional BR).

It's not the loss that bothers me it's how we lost. Shitty play calling, lack of restraint for stupid fricking penalties and really didn't see any enthusiasm from the players during the game. Defense did look a little better than last year though. Let the season playout and then let's see.

I was over it a minute after the final gun. I know it'll make for an entertaining dramatic year. Plus the board is funny after a loss.

So much has turned political over the last 8 years or so. I just like to enjoy the games not the political messaging. Also with the adoption of NIL the athletes really don’t care about school anymore. This leaves me thinking not to invest too much into sports anymore.

Hell no. It’s a damn game. Way more important things than these immature children running around a football field. I watched and was disappointed, but slept very well. These games don’t affect me but for a few minutes.

So, LSU bit off more than it could chew for the first game of yet another season?

Not exactly news.

We are good.

I looked on all channels for hours last Saturday night looking for the LSU game and didn't find it. I don't think they played this weekend.

When they do have their first game, I hope they win.

I watched most of the first half.

My full time job is covering high school sports. I just sorta observe college and pros.
