Not many survive jumping off Chimney Rock. You have better chances from Acapulco Rock.

It wasn't always painted up like that. Unfortunately, folks have trashed it up with paint, but it's still a very pretty lake, and quite deep along in there.

Lake Martin is almost 100 years old and was the largest man-make impoundment in the world when it was created.

It’s like 40,000 acres and well over 100 ft deep on the south end (where chimney rock is)… best lake in the state.

I've driven on chimney rock. Street in Houston.
