Booze. Life is too short to drink crappy booze. Unless you’re an alcoholic, then I guess price matters.

I always look for the best item at the lowest price. I wear really nice, quality clothes and shoes but most came from Goodwill. It's the best of both worlds.

I don't have the patience for thrift stores. I buy all of my summer clothes in the winter and winter in the summer though when they are on clearance.

I'm cheap as hell, but also live by the "pay now, or pay later" mantra, so I have no problem spending a little more on lots of stuff. Clothes, shoes, food, appliances, furniture, etc.

Drives me crazy my wife will buy some cheap shoes, then complain about how uncomfortable they are only to see them fall apart a few months after buying them. She just can't bring herself to spend much on shoes for some reason.

Just got back from a weekend in Branson and I rented a 4 bedroom condo on a golf course and we laughed about how just a few years ago we were cramming ourselves into the Econolodge down the road for $43/night and all the stale cereal and pastries you could eat for breakfast.

I never cheap out on the following:
Garbage bags
Freezer bags
paper towels (bounty is the best)
toiler paper (cottonelle)
shoes cheap shoes will screw up your feet.
I like high quality underwear. No one sees it but they're comfortable.
Never buy off brand food.
