Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash. Both remind me of my father.

I dread the day I hear bad news about Clint Eastwood. I really admire him.

Anna Nicole Smith

The more that has come out about her life just makes you sad at how the “hangers-on” and other people around her treated her.

Her obvious lack of IQ combined with what appeared to be an enormous heart and trust of people really led to her downfall.

Limbaugh, though I grew to disagree as I got older.

And

When Andrew Breitbart (was murdered) suddenly passed.

Cornell, Alan Rickman and many others mentioned already as well but hardly any "hit me hard." More like "aww" and move on.

If you think about it, everything after Kobe was bad- it's like his death set off a chain of events for a really awful couple of years. COVID hysteria, riots, BLM, escalating crime, and now a recession.

John Prine hit me harder than I thought it would. Never met the guy but he was a constant voice in my life for many years.

As a kid. Rebecca Schaefer. My Sister Sam. It was a first taste for young me that there was inexplicable evil in the world. Her being cute only accelerated that.

John Prine. I passed on his show pre Covid. Then Covid gets him. Was just really discovering him.

None.

I’ve never understood why people “get hit hard” by the death of a celebrity they have no personal connection to.

Eddie Van Halen. Mrs. Tantal and I were in Cabo and set to see Sammy Hagar at his birthday bash, a bucket list item for me. Unfortunately, he canceled it and flew home when Eddie died.
