My wifes Maine Coon meows so viscously, coyotes are never seen in the north and east pastures. My lab, however, would open the front door and give anyone the combination to the safe.

My two dogs haven't done their business in my house since they were puppies.
When I first got them, I put them in the kennel at night and then at times during the day. As soon as I let them out I took them outside where they would do their business right away. After about 3 months, they would not use it unless they were outside.
At cat isn't going to let me know if someone is snooping around.

I will say my cat is a killing machine. I would pick him in a fight against any animal in his weight class.
One night I woke up to a loud banging. It was him trying to drag a dead coon through the doggie door.

An amazing cat is about the best possible house pet someone could ask for. Intelligent, reactive to commands, small enough to cuddle with you without it being uncomfortable, extremely low maintenance. The problem is they come once in about 30 and the rest are just regular cats.

I had cats and they shite in our indoor flower pots and our fireplace. My dogs never did this. Also the cats had hellacious dander.

Every kid needs a dog. It's my daughter's job to bathe, feed and walk her dog. I pay the occasional vet bill but he's her responsibility otherwise.

I have a cat and he is a badass. Most cats are. But I like dogs too. But for some dog lovers, they got to have that reassurance of puppy greeting them when they come home. They prefer an emotionally shallow animal. When you yell at a dog, his tail will go between his legs, his ears will go down. A dog is very easy to break. But cats make you work for their affection. They dont sell out the way dogs do. JK PEOPLE.
