Our dog brought a stray dog in and for a while we fed it. Then the 'stray' went and picked a fight with a neighbor's pitbull, and the pitbull chased it to our house where I was mowing the grass. The 'stray' strategically placed me and the lawnmower between himself and the pit. Fortunately, one of our other neighbors ran over the stray several days later as it was running from a second confrontation with the pit on the pit's home territory.

Our dog had placed herself between me and stray dogs and strangers riding by on horseback. She was a keeper and is still missed.

Have you ever even seen a cat? Are you sure you aren't talking about snakes?

Cats are better than dogs.

I believe LSU proved this yesterday.

Cats are chill. Dogs try way too hard.

Maybe I'm an anomaly but I've always loved both cats and dogs.

A dog acts like every time they see you it is the greatest day of their life.

A cat pretends like it’s a coincidence they are always in the same room as you

My dogs know how to properly use "their", "they're" and "there" so in conclusion my dogs are smarter than you.

No. Just no.

You are just a lazy ill-equipped and shitty dog owner.

me and my wife have 2 high energy dogs. higher energy than any dog you've probably ever owned. A 2 year old Vizsla. and a 9 month old maltipoo.

quote:

shite everywhere

no. both dogs are house trained for 8-10 hours. come and go using a doggie door. And neither have had an accident in the last 6-7 months.

quote:

they just like to lay around and cuddle with you

nonsense. my vizsla will RUN ALL DAY. All day. But when the sun goes down, she wants to be held or be touching her owners. "velcro" vizsla. The Maltipoo is a true lap dog.

quote:

bark at people or bite when they come over

my dogs do not bark at people they are familiar with. never have. Hell they get excited when the mail lady comes everyday.
But if someone is creeping around they don't know, you best believe they will make us aware of the person's presence.
my dogs have NEVER bitten anyone.

quote:

get into trash, make messes,

nope. my dogs are trained to never go into the kitchen or pantry. they'll get their asses whipped if they are caught in either.

Again. It sounds like your lazy arse went and picked up any ol mutt from a shelter and expected it to be a highly trained machine that magically and instantly fit right into your lifestyle. doesn't work that way fatass. it take a lot of time and commitment but when they are trained correctly they are worth every single second.

but you are right, you shouldn't be a dog owner. a cat is much more your speed.

We have cats, and dogs (along with a variety of other farm animals) and a dog is most certainly a better pet in general. Now if you're taking about any of the variety of lap so called dogs, those thing suck and a fricking skunk would be a better pet than them.

Here's a quick test, ask your cat if he wants to go for a ride and see how he reacts.

Cats can adapt as hunters much more easily than dogs and can survive easily without their owners. Therefore, dogs will alway be more loyal and will defend you to the death if need be while a cat wouldn't give a shite. Cats are cleaner and more independent but will never match the loyalty and unconditional love that dogs have for their owners. There's a reason one is known as man's best friend and the other one isn't.

I'm a dog person but if you've ever known someone with a bobcat/domestic hybrid in their house then you'd appreciate them putting a sign like that on their door.
