They poop and pee in a box, then after walking in said box, walk all over your counters and tables. They destroy furniture and if they piss on something, it is basically ruined. Dogs greet you when you come home, they cuddle and play with you because they have a genuine love for you, cats greet you because they want fed.

Cats don't kill mice/rats for you. They kill because they like the thrill of the hunt and find enjoyment in torturing their prey because they are sadistic assholes.

Never seen a cat retrieve a duck I just shot. Duck probably weighs more than a cat.

Cats don't cuddle for shite. They do, however, take care of themselves unlike dogs.

i like cats and dogs. cats are low maintenance. dogs are like women and children.

dogs are great if had a big yard or lived in the country, but i wouldn't want a dog in an apartment or small yard.

i also won't keep dogs inside, smell too bad and have to take them out cause they can't take care of themselves.

An amazing cat is about the best possible house pet someone could ask for. Intelligent, reactive to commands, small enough to cuddle with you without it being uncomfortable, extremely low maintenance. The problem is they come once in about 30 and the rest are just regular cats

This 100%. Once you have an amazing cat (like a ragamuffin or Maine coon) you'll be converted

If you own a cat your house smells like
cat piss. You may not be able to smell it but everyone who doesn't own a cat sure as hell can.

And the gap is widening: "Dogs’ brains, in fact, have been continually growing while cats’ brains have remained virtually unchanged since they were first domesticated approximately 8,000 years ago, according to a recent study at Oxford University. The reason: Dogs are more social than cats, and the more social the animal, the bigger the brain, and, therefore, the smarter the animal. And the brain gap is widening, because dogs spend a lot of their time navigating the intricacies of their and our social worlds, which takes a lot of grey matter."
