Scientifically false, you would have to be an idiot to even think that.

Dogs smarter than cats

quote:

That's the conclusion of an international team of researchers, who found that dogs possess twice the number of neurons than cats. Neurons are cells that process information. And so, the more neurons an animal has, the better its information processing capability, these scientists say.

quote:

The current consensus among scientists and animal experts is that dogs are smarter than cats. The primary reason for this is that dogs are social animals and must solve problems in their interactions with other dogs and humans.

doesn't have to be a competition. Dogs scare away a lot of thugs. It's amazing how many thugs have an irrational fear of even small dogs.

That's because they were gearing up for the actual war that followed

quote:

PFC. HAMMER

Even today, a good mouser is still cherished. Pfc. Hammer proved his mettle when he decided to move in with the troops of a U.S. Army unit in Iraq in 2004, killing and chasing away mice that would have devoured or contaminated the soldiers' food stores. The men were so grateful for Hammer’s hard work and affection toward them that they made him an honorary member of their unit, and applied for and received help from Alley Cat Allies and Military Mascots to bring Hammer home to America after their deployment. He now lives in Colorado with his old comrade, Staff Sgt. Rick Bousfield.

I prefer dogs, but if you threw my dog out into the elements to fend for herself, she’d die. If you threw my cat out there, she’d hunt and stay alive.

Could you imagine someone having a sign on their backyard gate saying "Beware of household cat"?

Lolz.

Oh you mean completely dependent on humans to survive.

Go take 100 random dogs and cats out of homes and let them go in the outside world and see who survives. I'll take those smarts over Foo Foo being able to yap on command for a doggy biscuit any day

Cats are a key part of our men in unirforms food not being completely devoured by nasty rodents. Dogs protect your home. Cats protect our country.

I’m deathly afraid of roaches. Like.. I’ll take snakes and spiders any day over a roach. I’m so glad I’ve never seen a roach in this house even once in my life because cats.

Nurse owns pugs. Don't mind her.

If she doesn't post for the next few minutes it's probably because she is tending to her animal drooling on itself and gasping for air through it's fat jello rolls

Are we expecting our pets to fend for themselves? It's not something I've ever expected from mine.

Dogs are way more intelligent than cats. They've evolved with humans and the relationship is incredible.

No she wouldn’t. She’d be eaten by a coyote in 3 days. Dog would figure it out AND not get eaten.
