Just put up the litter box and let them outside. They'll shite and piss out there instead. All they want is some dirt to scratch over it, so they wont do it in your house if you let them out.

Plus, they like to hunts bugs, mice, and shite. So they wont go all crazy being trapped inside with nothing to attack but your blinds.

I have two and all I had to do was let them outside to potty train them.

Frick a cat. I have two of them that came with my wife. After they go, I’ll never have another one. Absolutely worthless.

Now my German Shepherd, wouldn’t trade her for the world. Not sure how you could put a dog like that side by side with a cat and say “yeah, I’d rather the cat”.

Having more than 1 to where you have to scoop the litter box out everyday sucks. When my ex moved out she left me with 3 and it was miserable, went through litter and food like nothing. Got rid of 2 and it’s way better. Only have to scoop once every 3-4 days and a 30lb bag of food lasts forever

We have two outside cats and they're great pets. They've even brought a couple of crawfish to our doorstep. Working on getting those numbers up

They have a service that does this once a week for my two dogs. Like 20 bucks and money well spent.

otherwise being needy.

This isn't always a given. My roommate's cat is needy AF. He pretty much has to be in your lap if you're on the couch. Expect to be lightly bitten if you aren't petting him. I have to lock the cat up when my roommate is out of town because it will either A) trample all over you throughout the night or B) meow incessantly outside the door until you let him in to walk all over you.

When cats are rubbing you like that they are scent marking you as their property not loving you up.

I clean litter twice a week when the trash goes out to the street. Takes maybe 3 minutes. Get good litter and it doesn’t even smell at all.

Absolutely no way I could scoop liter boxes every day for the next 15 years or whenever they croak.

Do what I did and get rid of the litter boxes. Make them go outside. Had enough of that nastiness.

And this is why people say pet owners never even realize their house stinks.

After having had house cats, I can guarantee you the litter box stinks. It may not be rancid, but it stinks. I don’t care if you clean it every time he shits and you buy the best litter ever made. The litter box stinks.

They make jumbo size litter box liners for a reason. The smell doesn’t leach into the box itself. Also helps to line the shite out of the box underneath the liner with baking soda.

If you have indoor/outdoor cats this problem is pretty minimal. If there is a doggy door it is eliminated entirely.
