I’m assuming he used his weapon to off himself and he wasn’t in the car when he did it.

If insurance is covering the $8k, have the car detailed and drive on. Or trade it in after repairs. Or park it in the projects and call an Uber.

You think it smells bad now, wait until, 3pm in July after hours in a blacktop parking lot.

Would be an interesting diminished value case if there was any value for an attorney in pursuing such.

not even your husband?

Tell him to suck it up buttercup. Read his insurance policy and see what it says it covers or sell it and get him a new grocery getter.

I think I'd just get one of those green trees and drive it.

Underneath vehicle is torn up. Replacing gas tank since it was leaking, new tires, alignment, bumper. Guy drove vehicle in the woods, potholes, curbs…

If it's smells and stains, you can go to a place like Pull-a-Part and buy seats and carpet and anvthing else out of car carcasses there.
They are surprisingly 'modern' for a junk yard and their stores are on line with the inventories of what cars are in, what model year and color.

How much is the vehicle worth? If the repairs exceed the vehicle’s value by 75% or more, it will be a total loss.
